Although Disney's California Adventure has earned its reputation as more of an adult friendly place to visit, there are many options when it comes enjoying the park with your baby!
First of all, like Disneyland, California Adventure has its very own Baby Center. It's located right past Cars Land, next to Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop. Inside, you'll find changing rooms, bathrooms, and access to all your baby needs. They even have food and diapers, just in case you forgot or ran out. I used to love taking my son in there! It felt very luxurious to me.
Also similar to Disneyland Park, all California Adventure's rides and attractions come with height restrictions. If the sign, which is usually located before the queue says, "Any Height", you can take your baby on the ride with you!

There are so many fun rides for baby, but my favorite would have to be The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure! It's fun and colorful, with lively music and magical, motion animated visuals. The line is often very short, usually under 10 minutes, and the ride is nice and lengthy. It's air conditioned, so you can enjoy a nice cool break during those hot summer days. The ride itself is set up like The Haunted Mansion. You sit in a large shell, and are taken along a path, with slight turns and inclines along the way. You can hold your baby on your lap, or as I always suggest, just wear baby in their carrier for greater ease when entering and exiting the ride.
As for my favorite attraction for baby, I would have to say, it's the Animation Academy. Located in Hollywood Land, this is such a fun room! When you first walk in, you'll be surrounded by multiple screens, playing scenes from your favorite Disney movies. Add music and lights and you've got a very magical little spot! I used to take my son, and just let him run around. He'd watch the movies, dance to the music, and chase the lights. There are many things to do inside the Animation Academy, but we liked to visit whenever we needed a break to relax.
*Insider Tip: Inside the Animation Academy, there is a fun little hidden room where you can take a quiz to find out which Disney character you are most like. It's a lot of fun! (See photo above.)
Some of my other top favorite rides and attractions for baby include Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sully to the Rescue, and Redwood Creek Challenge Trail (aka Wilderness Explorer)!
Although there may not be quite as many options as Disneyland Park, there are still many things to enjoy with your baby inside California Adventure. If you're running short on rides and attractions during your visit, I recommend getting yourself a coffee at Starbucks, and taking baby for a stroll around the park. (Starbucks is located inside California Adventure, at the Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe on Buena Vista Street.) I used to LOVE doing this when my son was little. With the music playing, stunning visuals all around, and food and shops galore, there is no shortage of entertainment to enjoy at Disney's beloved California Adventure Park. I hope you enjoy all it has to offer, making magical memories with your baby, that will last a lifetime!
*Insider Tip: Inside California Adventure, the best store to shop for your baby, in my opinion, is Big Top Toys. For mom, check out Elias & Co.
